I had anal sex with male victim to get magical powers – Suspect

One Ebere Nwankwo, arrested by the police in Lagos state, has confessed to the police in his statement that he had sex with his male victim to get some magical powers.

The state Police Command arrested the 20-year-old man for allegedly attacking and raping his male victim, Martin, in the Lekki area of the state.

Nwankwo, who was armed with a gun, sneaked into Martins’ apartment on Goshen Estate in the Lekki area at about 4pm and after dispossessing his victim of the sum of N22, 000, allegedly ordered 16-year-old Martins to get on the bed and had anal sexual intercourse with him.

He, however, met his waterloo after operatives from the Maroko Police Division, who were on a patrol in the area, heard screams from an apartment and they drew close.

They forced the door open and found the suspect and the victim having anal sex, the Punch learnt.

Confirming the incident on Wednesday, the Lagos state Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, SP Dolapo Badmos, said the incident happened at the weekend.

She said, “The suspect has confessed to the crime. He said the sexual intercourse was to make his victim forget about the stealing and to get magical powers.

“The robbery suspect would be charged to court with sodomy and stealing,” the PPRO added.
